Nominations & Winners for the 2016 American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards®

Presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing

Starred Winners***

James Corden played all major Broadway musical roles in an opening number that got a lot of audience laughs and, I’m sure, a lot of smiles from the millions of TV viewers. I guess he could have starred in all of them. “I could play any role I want, and no one could stop me!”

Outside the Beacon Theater was Andrew Lloyd Webber on tambourine, Steve Martin on guitar, Edie Brickell singing – a treat for all the fans. In fact, just about every Tony nominee and show doing production numbers was outside singing!

Heartfelt words from Frank Langella in his acceptance speech talking about the terrorist attack in Orlando, Fla. today.

Renee Elise Goldsberry just wants to live up to that Tony Award . . . no problem!

Daveed Diggs says kids are finding themselves watching the show and he’s always aspired to be like his father.

Did you get them all correct tonight? Video interviews from Winners in the Press Room next!

From our standpoint, this year’s Tony Awards were top draw!
