Following two sold-out runs Off-Broadway, JOB, the smash hit play by Max Wolf Friedlich, will open on Broadway this summer starring acclaimed original cast members Peter Friedman and Sydney Lemmon. Directed by Michael Herwitz, JOB will begin performances on Monday, July 15 and open on Tuesday, July 30 at the Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street) for a limited engagement through Sunday, September 29. Tony®, GRAMMY®, and Emmy® Award winner Ben Platt, directed by Michael Arden. will reopen Broadway’s Palace Theatre (West 47th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues), with a strictly limited 18-performance only concert residency in celebration of the release of his upcoming third album Honeymind. Ben Platt: Live at the Palace announces a digital lottery, powered by Broadway Direct. Entries for the digital lottery open at 9:00 AM ET one day before the performance HERE. Winners are drawn the same day at 4:00 PM ET and will have 60 minutes to pay for their tickets online. Winners may buy up to four tickets at $35 each (inclusive of all fees). The Off Broadway Alliance, an organization of Off-Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing professionals, today announced the winners of the 13th Annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards, honoring commercial and not-for-profit productions that opened Off Broadway during the 2023-2024 season. In each of the six categories, the winners are: Best New Musical: Dead Outlaw, Best New Play: Oh, Mary!, Best Revival: Tuesdays with Morrie, Best Unique Theatrical Experience: Dungeons & Dragons The Twenty-Sided Tavern, Best Solo Performance: Wade McCollum in Make Me Gorgeous!, and Best Family Show: El Otro Oz.
