If you hear theater lovers celebrating, it’s because Judith Light is about to grace the boards once again. The two-time Tony Award winner (and two-time Daytime Emmy Award winner) is not only coming back to the stage, but will be the only person onstage in Neil LaBute’s eagerly awaited solo show All the Ways to Say I Love You, to be presented by MCC Theatre at the Lucille Lortel Theater starting September 6. All we know about the work is that it involves the complex life of a woman in a mixed-race marriage. At a recent press event, Theater Pizzazz spoke with Light, LaBute and director Leigh Silverman about this sure-to-be-talked-about play.
All the Ways To Say I Love You previews Sept. 6, opening night Sept. 28 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre, 121 Christopher Street, NYC – thru Oct. 9
