Maurice Hines’ new production Tappin’ Thru Life was interrupted by a fire alarm and evacuated mid-performance. At this point the reason for the evacuation is unknown. Theater Pizzazz’s Sandi Durell is on the scene and will update as information becomes available.
UPDATE: 4.42 PM – Fire Department and canine explosive detecting dog has entered the building.
UPDATE: 4.50 PM – Audience has been allowed back into theater. No word on reason for the evacuation, but the black Labrador Retriever working along with the Fire Department gave the go-ahead to return.
