With Sofia’s at the Edison Hotel closing (having lost their lease after 37 years) and Vince’s last playing date August 13th, it didn’t take long for the musical institution known as VINCE GIORDANO & THE NIGHTHAWKS to find a new home. Thankfully that begins on Monday, September 9th at IGUANA – 240 West 54th Street (just down the street from 54 Below).
Vince will be offering up his big band music every Monday and Tuesday from 8 to 11 pm and . . . there’s a dance floor on the 2d floor where the band will be playing.
Vince and the Band have won a Grammy for work on HBOs Boardwalk Empire and have played for Queens and Presidents and dancers and all of us.
Music Cover Charge: $15. cash at the door
