Seth Sikes and Nicolas King will perform an encore performance of their popular show The New Belters Sing MGM on Friday, September 6 at 7:00 pm.

Acclaimed jazz pianist Billy Stritch will musically direct the evening celebrating music from the golden age of MGM. This vast and iconic catalog includes songs from the films Singin’ in the Rain, The Band Wagon, Meet Me in St. Louis, The Wizard of Oz, and many more. Sikes and King will deliver a powerhouse performance that promises to capture the glitter and magic of the golden age of Hollywood, and bring it into the next generation.

BROADWAY BOUND Returns to 54 Below

The seventh edition of Broadway Bound: The Musicals That Never Came To Broadway will playon Tuesday, September 10 at 54 Below. The concert features “lost” musicals by such composers as Stephen Sondheim, John Kander, Fred Ebb, Barbara Fried, Cy Coleman, and Jerome Kern.

Scheduled to appear in the concert are LaDonna Burns (White Girl in Danger), Mary Callanan (Bandstand), Doug Cohen (No Way To Treat a Lady), Joe Iconis (Be More Chill), Aaron Jackson (Dicks: The Musical), Amy Jo Jackson (Kinky Boots), Bianca Marroquin (Chicago), Karen Mason (Sunset Boulevard), Lisa Dawn Miller (For Once In My Life: The Songs of Ron Miller), Christiane Noll (Ragtime), Christine Pedi (Sirius XM), Eve Plumb (TV’s The Brady Bunch), Steve Ross (Crown Prince of New York Cabaret), Amy Spanger (Tick Tick Boom), and Jim Walton (Merrily We Roll Along).

The concert is directed and produced by Robert W. Schneider, who will co-host the evening with host of the podcast Behind the Curtain: Broadway’s Living Legends. Schneider and host of the podcast Backstage Babble, Charles Kirsch, will co-host the evening. Michael Lavine will be the music director.

After bringing such uniquely sinister and sultry shows as Ghosts of Weimar Past and Phantoms of the Cabaret to NYC’s iconic cabaret stomping ground Don’t Tell Mama, chanteuse/composer Artemisia LeFay returns there with a brand-new show of her original compositions on Sunday, September 22.

In Wasted Girl, LeFay, alongside pianist (and mother) Renée Guerrero, violinist Khullilp Jeung and singer Hannah Mount, will perform all original songs from her upcoming album of the same title.
