Broadway veteran turned podcast host Denis Lambert (A Chorus Line, Doctor Zhivago) pays tribute to his former teacher, prolific stage and screen actor Joseph Siravo, in a special 90-minute episode of The Voracious Student. The Woman in Black will reopen to scare more audiences in New York at the McKittrick Hotel from October 21, with an opening night on October 24 and performances to Jan. 30, 2022. The site-specific adaptation of The Woman in Black imagines the ghost story in a pub, and is directed by Robin Herford. The musical adaptation of Angela’s Ashes, Frank McCourt’s bestselling memoir, will make its streaming New York debut with the Irish Repertory Theatre on Thursday, September 9, at 7pm. It will be available on demand here through September 22. Featuring music and lyrics by Adam Howell (Blonde), a book by Paul Hart (Moon in Eclipse), and direction by Thom Southerland (Mack and Mabel), Angela’s Ashes tells the story of McCourt’s impoverished childhood in Brooklyn. www.irishrep.org
