Permission, Robert Askins (“Hand to God”) latest play saw its world premiere Tuesday Night, May 19 at the Lucille Lortel. The play is produced by MCC Theater and stars Elizabeth Reaser, Nicole Lowrance, Talene Monahon, Justin Bartha, and Lucas Near-Verbrugghe and is directed by Alex Timbers. Theater Pizzazz’s JK Clarke was on hand to capture the red carpet arrivals, curtain call and after party.
First nighters on hand for the festivities included Jason Biggs, Julianna Margulies, Marisa Tomei, Sophia Caruso, Marin Ireland, Peter Friedman, Colby Minifie, Fred Weller, Noah Robbins, Callie Thorne, Patch Darragh, Roger Rees, Rick Elice, Lily Englert and Halley Feiffer as well as MCC Theater’s Artistic Directors Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey and William Cantler.
