New Yiddish Rep production of “Di Froyen” (The Women), based on the play “Women’s Minyan” by Naomi Ragen, adapted for NewYiddish Rep by Melissa Weisz and Malky Goldman. Director is Rachel Botchan. This seven-character play is a one-act drama of an abused Orthodox Jewish wife who is being kept from her children. Jersey Boys Celebrates 1000th Performance: The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning musical celebrated its 1000th performance at New York City’s New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) Stage 1 on Sunday, January 9, 2022 (at the matinee).
