Nightlife Awards Benefit helped raise funds for the awards when a sponsor had to drop out.
The benefit evening was put together by Carolyn Montgomery- Forant and held at The Snapple Theatre on a dark night where the hit off Broadway show THE FANTASTIKS is presented.
Performers from Broadway and the Cabaret scene, gave their time to help raise funds and performed to an ever appreciative audience who donated various sums as an entrance fee.
Jazz performer Jane Monheit and Julie Halston were added to the stellar cast of Scott Coulter, Elizabeth Stanley, Charles Busch, Jim Caruso, Gregg Edelman, Adam Feldman, Maxine Linehan, William Michals, Julie Reyburn, Bill Irwin, Karen Akers and Carolyn Montgomery-Forant. Most, if not all, have appeared in a Scott Siegel Production at Town Hall.
Many of the audience who came to support this benefit were performers themselves.
