David Kenney was honored Thursday February 12, 2015 at Metropolitan Room. This is Your Night David Kenny was originally scheduled for the end of January but, the blizzard to end all blizzards (not), forced the show to be postponed. With the cancellation, came a new roster of cabaret stars to show their respect and appreciation for David. This remarkable man has worked endlessly to support the American Song Book and introduce it to new and younger audiences. The illustrious list of performers included: Hilary Kole, Tom Anderson, Jay Rogers, Mary Foster Conklin, Eric Comstock, Barbara Fasano, Stacy Sullivan, Frank Dain, Natalie Douglas and the ever-glorious Karen Akers.

The show, hosted by Bernie Furshpan and produced by Sue Matsuki, was an evening filled with love, laughter and memories. David Kenney has had an impact on the lives of so many of the artists in the cabaret world. His efforts have not gone unnoticed. Congratulations, Mr. Kenney, for a job well done.
