One of New York’s most prestigious theatrical honors, the Drama Desk Awards will be held on Sunday, May 31 at Town Hall, hosted by Laura Benanti. The awards include Broadway, Off-Broadway, and Off-Off-Broadway.
At a May 6th event for the nominees to meet the press, TheaterPizzazz spoke with over two dozen nominees, including actors Christian Borle, Carolee Carmello, Leanne Cope, Brian d’Arcy James, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Leslie Odom, Jr, Andy Karl, Brad Oscar, Tonya Pinkins and Alex Sharp and choreographers Joshua Bergasse, Andy Blankenbuehler, and Warren Carlyle.
