Danny Burstein joins the cast of GYPSY as “Herbie”, alongside Audra McDonanld

Tony Award Winner Danny Burstein will be playing “Herbie” opposite six-time Tony Award Winner Audra McDonald “Rose” in GYPSY. 

Directed by the legendary six-time Tony Award-winning Director George C. Wolfe, GYPSY is suggested by the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee. The musical features a book by Tony Award Winner Arthur Laurents, music by Tony and Academy Award Winner Jule Styne, and lyrics by Tony, Grammy, Academy Award and Pulitzer Prize Winner Stephen Sondheim, choreography by four-time Tony Award nominated Camille A. Brown, music direction and supervision by Andy Einhorn, and additional orchestrations and arrangements by Tony Award winner Daryl Waters. 

GYPSY performances will begin Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Broadway’s newly renovated Majestic Theatre (245 West 44^th Street) and the show will officially open on Thursday, December 19, 2024.  Tickets for GYPSY are available at Telecharge.com (212.239.6200) and start at $79 (inclusive of all fees).  For the GYPSY playing schedule during previews and the holidays, please visit www.GypsyBway.com.  Beginning Wednesday, January 1, 2025, the playing schedule is Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7pm, Wednesday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm.
