Oscar Winning-Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. met the press to celebrate his return to Broadway, playing the role of Billy Flynn in the Tony Award-Winning musical Chicago beginning October 6. He is reprising the role after playing the character on the West End earlier this year.
Chicago currently stars Michelle DeJean as Roxie Hart, Terra C. Macleod as Velma Kelly, John O’Hurley as Billy Flynn, Evan Harrington as Amos Hart, and Cady Huffman as Mama Morton.
Mr. Gooding Jr. made his Broadway debut in 2013 alongside Cicely Tyson and Vanessa Williams in A Trip to the Bountiful.
He is also making his directorial debut and is starring in the new film Bayou Cavier, which will be released October 5 by Gravitas Ventures.
