If you’re thinking about ringing in the New Year with a real bang, think Broadway Legend and two-time Tony Award Winner CHITA RIVERA! She’ll be strutting her stuff at 54 Below on December 31st at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.
Presenting songs from her illustrious career as Anita in West Side Story, in Bye Bye Birdie, as Velma Kelly in Chicago, from The Rink and Kiss of the Spider Woman and more, this is sure to be one of the most exciting New Years ever. Ms. Rivera was honored in 2002 with the Kennedy Center Honor as well as the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009. She’ll be accompanied by her longtime trio: Musical Director Michael Croiter, Michael Patrick Walker and Jim Donica.
