Michael Arden, Kelli Barrett, Bill Berloni, Robert Fairchild, Sutton Foster, Lesli Margherita, Andrea McArdle, Orfeh, Hugh Panaro, Kate Rockwell, Jarrod Spector and Alysha Umphress were all on hand in Best in Shows, a star-studded cabaret evening benefitting the Humane Society of New York, on Sunday evening, November 1 at Feinstein’s/ 54 Below. Oscar and Tony Award-winner Joel Grey was awarded the first annual Humane Society of New York’s Sandy Award, presented to an artist who has shown a fierce commitment, through action and advocacy, to the cause of animal rights.

The evening was presented by Dorothy and Bill Berloni, with music direction by Seth Rudetsky, who also played host to the evening’s entertainment.Stars and their best 4-legged friends turned out with some really clever songs. There were lots of licks, hugs and kisses going on as Bill Berloni tearfully presented Joel Grey with the first annual Humane Society of New York’s Sandy Award.
