The Power of Women’s Voices is a soul-stirring celebration of prose, poetry, art, and music that honored the unapologetic brilliance of women over 40. The Triad had a packed house, and the showcase garnered multiple standing ovations.
The showcase featured original readings, evocative visual art, and musical performances that spanned genres and generations. “Women over 40 have lived, loved, lost, reimagined, and risen—and their stories deserve to be heard, celebrated, and shared,” said Cheryl Benton, founder of The Three Tomatoes. “This evening was a tribute to their brilliance, their courage, and their creative fire.”



The showcase featured readings works that empower and enlighten, by actresses and producers Valerie Smaldone, Kristie Keleshian, and Carol Ostrow, breathing life into. There were also musical performances by Randie Levine Miller, Merrill Stone, Karen Nason, and singer/songwriter Steve Schalchlin, each offering a heartfelt tribute to womanhood.
