Broadway is a living, breathing entity, and its future depends on the nurturing we give it today. That’s what TEDxBroadway is all about — feeding and growing Broadway as a neighborhood community. At this one-of-a-kind event, you’ll share passion and perspectives with the most creative, influential leaders in tourism, hotels, restaurants, marketing, technology and, of course, the entertainment industry. Together as a group, you’ll attempt to answer the question: “What’s the best that Broadway can be?” It all takes place on February 24th at New World Stages.

Founded by digital marketing expert Damian Bazadona (Situation Interactive), Broadway producer Ken Davenport (Godspell, Macbeth, Speed-the-Plow, Blithe Spirit) and Goldstar CEO Jim McCarthy, this third annual event promises to be the best one yet.

The speaker lineup includes: 2014 Oscar nominee Robert Lopez (The Book of Mormon, Avenue Q), whose original song “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen could earn him the Academy Award — and make him the 12th-ever EGOTer (Emmy-Grammy-Oscar-Tony); 2013 Tony-winning Best Director (Pippin)/A.R.T. artistic director Diane Paulus; Broadway and jazz star/comedian Lea DeLaria; Crowd Fund Economics author David Drake, who’s founder/chairman of equity advisory firm LDJ Capital and financial media company The Soho Loft; Concert Window founder/CEO and six-time U.S. champion on the button accordion, Dan Gurney; Mark Fisher Fitness founders Mark Fisher and Michael Keeler; the “Song a Day” guy, Jonathan Mann; and gamification expert Gabe Zichermann. Additional speakers will be announced at a later date.
