Deceit. Betrayal. Intrigue. Death. These are just a few of the heart-pounding activities that take place throughout “Wolf Hall,” the two-part play based on Dame Hilary Mantel’s best-selling novels about the court of King Henry VIII, which hits America’s shores on Friday, March 20 at the Winter Garden Theatre (in advance of an official opening on Thursday, April 9).

At a recent event held at the posh British Residence on East 51st Street, Theater Pizzazz spoke with Dame Hilary, as well as the production’s acclaimed director Jeremy Herrin, and numerous members of the cast, including leads Ben Miles (Thomas Cromwell), Nathaniel Parker (Henry VIII), and Lydia Leonard (Anne Boleyn), as well as supporting players Lucy Briers, Leah Brotherhead, Paul Jesson, and Jon Ramm, who each play multiple roles.

Here’s what they had to say about this much-anticipated theatrical event.
