The Vineyard Theatre held a press meet and greet to introduce Tony Award Winner Billy Crudup (The Coast of Utopia, Spotlight, The Metal Children) who will play ‘Harry Clarke’ in a one-man thriller that is funny and clever. It’s the story of a shy Midwesterner leading an outrageous double life as a Londoner Harry Clarke. He moves to New York City, presents himself as an Englishman and charms his way into a wealthy family’s life as a seductive and precocious man. It’s risky behavior that threatens to undo more than his persona.

Written by Obie Award wining David Cale (Lillian, A likely Story, Deep in a Dream of You), Harry Clarke is directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman (Chinglish, Sweet Charity, Exhale) making her Vineyard Theatre debut.

Harry Clarke will be recorded by Audible as an audio play available to members in early 2018.

Performances begin on October 26, with an opening on November 21 and will launch the Vineyard’s 35th Anniversary Season.
