Legendary singer Marilyn Maye cast her magical spell on Palm Beach this past week. Her engagement at Palm Beach Colony Hotel ‘s Royal Room was nothing short of extraordinary, accompanied by one of her favorite musical directors on piano, Tedd Firth.

Ms. Maye paid tribute to the songs of Frank Sinatra sung in her own special way. The love and the adoration from her devoted audience was evident from the moment she entered the room and began with “Fly Me to the Moon.” The show continued none stop for over and hour and it still wasn’t enough. Ms. Maye’s strength is in painting a picture with a song – emphasis on the lyric.

Being at the Royal Room at the Colony Hotel added to the overall experience of a perfect night out.   Entertainment Director Rob Russell, created a very special oasis in Palm Beach. The room is amply named because everyone that steps through the door is treated royally. The décor, food, service, ambiance and great entertainment makes a visit to the Colony Hotel a rare treat.
