The Tony Award Winning Composer of “Spring Awakening,” Duncan Sheik, is getting ready to make his 54 Below debut and will appear September 9th thru 14th. Sheik is a singer-songwriter with an affinity for new contemporary electronic sounds but with a heart that lies firmly in musical theatre.
His show will feature a little bit of everything – – a few tunes from his theatre projects (Spring Awakening, The Nightingale, the forthcoming American Psycho), his celebrated recordings (White Limousine, Whisper House or his brand new album, due out later this year). Maybe even some tunes from his whimsical project, Duncan Sheik covers the 80’s. No matter what he’s presenting, expect an artistic and high-octane evening from one of the theatre and music world’s most unique and gifted talents.
