Buyer & Cellar star, MICHAEL URIE, has a lot of friends! His acclaimed one man show at the Barrow Street Theatre has been getting raves and everybody loves Michael!
In celebration of his brithday, his portrait was unveiled by media mogul Valerie Smaldone and managing partner Bruce Dimpflmaier with a very happy Michael Urie. It’s now ready to be hung in the famous “Broadway Wall of Fame” (or in this case Off Broadway Wall of Fame) at Tony’s DiNapoli on West 43rd Street.
In attendance were celebrity well wishers Alan Cumming, Cuba Gooding, Jr, Vanessa Williams, Shalita Grant, Annaleigh Ashford, Billy Porter, Rachel Dratch, Joanna Gleason and a host of others, including proud producers Dan Shaheen and Pat Addiss.
A night to remember – – just ask Bruce Dimpflimaier who says it’s one of his best parties . . . ever!
Michael Urie couldn’t have been happier as he blew out the candles on the cake smiling ear to ear!
