The Atlantic Theater Company held its landmark 30th Anniversary Gala on Monday, March 2 at the Pierre Hotel. The evening honored Charles R. Bendit and Paul E. Pariser, co-CEOs of Taconic Investment Partners for their long-time partnership with the Atlantic. Neil Pepe, the Atlantic’s artistic director, helmed the gala’s entertainment, which featured performances from both the Atlantic Ensemble and celebrity artists.

The star-studded event was hosted by Emmy Award winner and Oscar nominee Felicity Huffman (“Desperate Housewives,” “American Crime”), who was one of the Atlantic’s original members, along with her future husband, Emmy and SAG winner William H. Macy, and multi award-winning playwright David Mamet.

 

Among the many celebrity guests, whom Theater Pizzazz spoke with, were Talia Balsam, Anna Chlumsky, Siobhan Fallon, Halley Feiffer, Clark Gregg, Jennifer Grey, Christine Lahti, Peter Maloney, Camryn Manheim, Mary McCann, Michael McKean, Matthew Morrison, Eloise Mumford, Mary Beth Peil, Tonya Pinkins, John Slattery, Isiah Whitlock, Jr., and Beau Willimon.

 

The Atlantic is currently presenting Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright’s new play “Posterity” at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street) through April 5.
